FWCS was formed to enhance
the educational,
experiential, and networking
opportunities for the workers'
compensation practitioner to enhance
the practitioner's knowledge, skills,
and abilities in the performance of
their duties.
Through the valiant
efforts of a group of
dedicated professionals, the
FWCS is now ready to begin
its Charter Membership Solicitation.
Registered in the
state of Delaware, the Society has
been duly established as a 501 (c) 3
non-profit organization.

that will enhance professional competence. This service
provides
searchable access
to ECAB, MSPB, FLRA, EEOC and Federal Court
decisions, Workers’ Compensation Program Quick Start
Guides, federal statutes & regulations, forms, news, and
subject-matter expert on-line chats.
2. The development and administration of a
professional certification program
to enhance the skills and qualifications of program
practitioners.
3. The regular posting of open and/or vacant workers’
compensation positions throughout the federal government
by agency, location, and grade for member information
and application.
4. The establishment of a library of return-to-work
position descriptions, sample notification letters, and
other helpful information for use by members in their
agencies.
5. The ability to raise issues and questions on specific
concerns that can be responded to by other members.
6. Outside, independent audits of agency Workers’
Compensation Programs by FWCS professionals to enhance
program improvement.
7. The attendance at workshops and training events
sponsored by FWCS.
8. The opportunity to identify training needs, program
issues, and other matters that FWCS should study and
then provide research results to its members and to DOL,
Federal agency management, and Congressional committees.
